When handling personal information, we shall comply with all laws and other regulations regarding the protection of personal information, as well as all guidelines the government makes.

Handling of Personal Information
Mitsui & Co. Seafoods Ltd.(herein after “our Company”) shall comply with all laws and other regulations regarding the protection of personal information, and appropriately manage personal information provided to our company and treat them as follows.

5.Matters Concerning Safety Management Measures
Our Company will take necessary and appropriate safety management measures to control personal data, such as preventing leakage, loss, or damage. The Rules on Personal Information Protection separately stipulate specific measures for the management of personal data. The main items are as follows.
(Development of Disciplines on the Handling of Personal Data)
The Rules on Personal Information Protection have been established for each stage, including acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal, with respect to the handling methods, responsible persons in charge, handling persons in charge, and their duties.
(Organizational Safety Management Measures)
- We have appointed a responsible person in charge of the handling of personal data, clarified the scope of personal data handled by employees handling personal data, and established a system to report to the person in charge of any violation of the Personal Information Protection Law or the Rules on Personal Information Protection.

(Physical Safety Management Measures)
- In areas where personal data is handled, we control the entry and exit of employees and restrict devices, etc. brought in, and take measures to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing personal data.
- In addition to taking measures to prevent theft or loss of equipment, electronic media, and documents that handle personal data, measures are taken to prevent personal data from being easily identified when transporting such equipment, electronic media, etc., including transportation within business sites.
(Technical Safety Management Measures)
- Access control is implemented to limit the scope of person in charge and personal information databases handled.
- We have introduced a mechanism to protect information systems that handle personal data from unauthorized access from outside sources or from unauthorized software.
6.Handling of Personal Information in Connection with External Links
Please be informed that our Company’s website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the handling or management of personal information, or the content on these external sites. Goal 1: Continue to provide support for taking childcare leave and returning to work.
<Measures>
- Explain the details of the system to employees who plan to take childcare leave and managers of the organizational unit the employee belongs to, and deepen understanding of the system.
- Handle consultations related to postponing the start of childcare leave and other issues and provide related support.
- Hold meetings with senior coworkers who have taken childcare leave before they return to work, and provide support regarding how they will work after returning to work.
Goal 2: Promote people taking annual paid time off.
<Measures>
- Ascertain and share information on employees taking paid time off for the previous fiscal year.
- Ascertain the state of employees making use of the newly introduced system of annual paid time off that can be taken in increments of hours and verify the impact on efforts to encourage people to take paid time off.
- Work to get employees who have used little of their paid time off to use their time off and encourage people to use all their annual paid time off.

Goal 3: Continue to examine efforts to reform workstyles

- Ascertain the state of people using the newly introduced system of flex time and whether this is leading to flexible workstyles.
- With the start of the regular telework system, the status of its use and problems will be assessed to verify whether it is being used effectively based on the work-life balance.
